Can I add a message to a password protected page?

Hi!

I've set up a password protected page on my website. I'd like to add a message to the password screen so that potential customers know that they can email me to obtain the password. Is this possible?

Hi @Charlotte4 👋 thanks for your post.

I tested this out and it doesn't look like there isn't any way to customise the protected screen at this time.

A potential workaround here may be to add a pop-up or a banner to your site with that message.

I tested with a banner and it will appear on the password protected pages but unfortunately they can't be assigned to one specific page either, so it would be visible on all pages. You could set it to disappear after a few minutes though.
