Monthly comparison report

Hi,

I am looking to compare sales data between two particular months; not just current and previous month; I am looking to compare two different months, i.e. July 23 vs Sep 23. I can't seems to find any options or way to create report on your online dashboard or mobile app. Reports on online dashboard do not provide monthly sales comparison.
However, I can see that, your mobile point of sale app does show sales report which compares, between days, months, 3 months and years. ,

Is there any options or way to create report which compares two different months sales?

@nomadscoffee when we do analysis outside the scope of the Square reporting tools we export the sales data and create a pivot table. You can really drill down into the data using an excel pivot table.

Hi @doc_choc Thank you for your response. Yes, I know I can do that. However, I am looking to have a report without exporting sales data. I am looking if there any functionalities or options to do without exporting data.

I know that Square are continually working on their reports and what companies are looking to achieve through reporting functions.

There was a gathering of minds on this a few months back, so it may be on the road map. Not helpful for you at the moment but might be a function that appears on the next round of updates.

Like I say we export as we don't alwsys have the time to wait for specific functionslity requests to filter through.

Head over to the ideate section and pop the feature request on there. If it gets support it will get momentum.
