Service charge on split bills

We have just set up our till to put 10% service charge on all bills.

However, when customers want to split the bill, the full service charge goes on each split portion.

For example, £100 split in two should be two payments of £50 each with a service charge of £5.

However, it is putting £10 service charge on each £50 payment.

How can I change this?

Hey @PapaGanoush @this doesn’t sound right at all does it!

I think it must be more of a bug than something you can change.

In the short term it might be worth setting a 5% charge on there too to deal with the situation for now.

@maxpete is this something you’re able to look at?

I did some testing with a 10% service charge applied on a £100 split bill and got £5 on each £50 split, so we need to check why that's not happening in your case.

I'll likely need to create a ticket for this, so I'll need a bit of information. If you prefer, you can send it to me via DM here on the Community.

1) App and software version (E.g. Square for Restaurants, 6.42.1)

2) Is this happening to all bills or just some?

3) Screenshot or an example of a bill that this happened to
