Adding Classes booking feature to the Square Online site

One of the reasons I switched over to Square from an assortment of other systems doing lots of different things was because the Classes booking system became an option.

But it’s the thing I’m finding the least useful. I can’t customise the information I want from customers when they book. I can’t attach a contract to double as a consultation form the way I can for appointments. And I can’t add it to the website using sections like I can for services, or pick out a class as a highlighted option. So I am only using it for 3 classes for repeat customers so I can tell them in person how to book the class online. Everything else I’m managing through events or appointments, but this isn’t idea longer term.

The website integration is the main issue though - I could work around all the others if there was a way to highlight the right classes on the correct page of the website. Eg. On the baby massage page, after the course ‘event’ sections I need a section that says ‘Already done a course? Book for our weekly drop in sessions here:’ and then highlights the list of classes. But I only seem to be able to do this as a list of services and they have to know to click the classes tab. Is there any way around this?

I'm sorry to hear that things haven't been smooth sailing so far.

While the feature you're looking for isn't available directly with class bookings, here are a couple of alternatives you could consider:

Using a Third-Party Form Tool like JotForm: You can include a link to this form in the class confirmation email or on the booking page.
Manual Follow-Up: After a customer books a class, you could manually send a follow-up email requesting the additional information you need.

I understand these might not be ideal solutions right now, but they could work until more functionalities are available.

Regarding your second question, I can look into this further, but I might need to test it myself and possibly consult with our Appointments team. Could you share a link to your site here?

So this is an example. In order to even put the classes tab on the page I have to put a service up. I don’t seem to be add classes as a separate section. Assuming there isn’t a way to do that?

Was there any ever progress on this - it's getting unbearable not to be able to highlight specific classes/class timetables/class booking flows through Square online?

I've found a small workaround using packages to advertise booking their first class at a discount - but it's not ideal and I'm sure I'm loosing bookings because of it.
