Automatically remove service charge for take away

Hi all,

We area full service restaurant that automatically adds a 12.5% service charge on our bills.

However we also do take away for which service charge should not be charged.

We can do this manually for every transaction but I am looking for an automatic way to do it every time a transaction is registered as take away.

Can anyone help?

At this time, we do not have a feature that lets you automatically apply/remove a service charge based on the dining option used (similar to the sales tax exemption feature). I think it's a great idea though, and I'll make sure to share your idea with our product team. I also suggest filing a feature request for added visibility.
