simple report on footfall or monthly transactions

Hi Guys

I am trying to compare monthly (sales) ie number of transactions (which is a rough proxy for footfall) with the same month last year etc

I realise I can get this data manually by entering each month and then writing down that data

but is there any way I can create a custom report

Hi @RussB I see what you are trying to do. For this would use the Square app on my phone for this. In the more section, under reports select sales, select 1Y, press the three dots above the graph and select sales count. This will show you a yearly sales count, broken down by month in the graph. If you click on the month on the graph it will show that months sales count and also the previous years sales count for that month. Hope this helps

You are welcome. I generally use the dashboard for more complex reporting but I find using the app much quicker to get reports, data and answers to questions. If there are any other things you are trying to do with report, let me know I may be able to help. Good luck!
