    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I requested a refund on 31st March 2025 for a customer. They contacted me yesterday to enquire on the refund as they are claiming they've still not had this. When checking the refund status, it's showing as pending.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's been 5 days so why would this still be pending?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas as the customer is getting irate&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Den&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Everything you've done is correct, and everything is working as expected. Refunds typically take between 4 to 14 business days to fully process.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It usually takes 2-7 business days for Square to process the refund on our end, and then another 2-7 business days for the cardholder's bank to process it on their side. The exact timeframe can vary depending on the payment method and card type, which is why we provide a broader processing window.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
