&lt;P&gt;Thanks for reaching out — happy to help with getting that update pushed through on your Square Terminal!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Square Terminal is designed to update automatically every 2–8 weeks, typically overnight at 3 a.m. (local time) to avoid disrupting business hours. To ensure updates go through, make sure your device is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Plugged into power&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Turned on (sleep mode is okay — just don’t power it off)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Connected to the internet&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- At or above 35% battery&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If an update didn’t complete, you should see an on-screen prompt to install or defer the update. You can defer for up to 7 days, but in some cases, you’ll need to tap &lt;STRONG&gt;Install Now&lt;/STRONG&gt; to proceed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
