Creating a payment link

Each time I try to create the link it tells me to enter my address, which I've already done. After spending a long time in the chat, someone came back with an article--not an individual answer--with a link that led to something about creating items in my dashboard. But the chat person disappeared after leaving the article, so couldn't answer any of my questions, like what the hell does creating an item have to do with creating a payment link?

Help?!?!

Hi Gracielacarriqu,

What we have done to create Payment Links:

From your Account Dashboard - select Online Checkout - then Create a Link - then Collect a Payment.

If selling an item - then you would have to either use an existing item or create a new one.

Not sure if that clears things up.
