How to add a Lunch Break?

can I deduct lunch breaks from the total hours on the rota.

Hey there, @Italion -

Absolutely, you can set up breaks with your team's Square Shifts. You would have to do this through your Dashboard as the account owner.

Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Staff > Settings > Breaks.
Select Add new break to add your first break.
Add a name, duration, and select the compensation setting (paid or unpaid) for the break.
Select Save to confirm the break settings.

Presumably the staff will have to clock out and in again for a break.
