Chip card reader for personal use?

Are international students allowed to use Square chip reader for personal use, or are there any laws etc. Do, I need an ABN or anything by law or according to Taxations use this ?

Thanks for reaching out!

As part of the terms of service for using Square to take payments, you will need to use it for legitimate business use - so unfortunately you won't be able to use Square for personal payments.
