You should know the inventory before you make invoice or check out.

but Square doesn't show what is the number in stock, unless, before you make invoice, you check your inventory first. for example, if only 2 left, when I put 3, it will show me "only 2 left",

so I can ask my customer if they accept 2 or cancel the order.

Good suggestion! I'll put it to the product team as a feature request, I can see how having a display of your current stock before making the sale would be handy information to have 🙂
