Are you able to let me know a little more about what's happening here and what Restaurant features you're seeing, and where? Is this for our Point of Sale app, your online Dashboard, Square Online or Square Appointments?

I have a similar situation. I keep getting prompts/suggestions for different foods etc. at various times. Here is one instance that occurs when I enter 'create an item' I get suggestions for water, cookies and coffee.. not at all related to my jewellery. I also get similar suggestions on the square app when I go to add one of my preset discounts to a sale. Along with my listed discounts is a list of food suggestions.

I have been ignoring these suggestions, but it would be good if I could turn them off.

Hi @RobbieJewellery,

Those suggestions that you are seeing are not based around the business type that you chose during the signup. It is just generic suggestions that we have built into the system to give people an idea of what they would write there.

If you would like to find out though what your business is listed as in Square, you will need to give our support team a call for them to look at the account. You can give us a call on 1800 760 137. We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm Melbourne time.
