thread Any Experience with the Posiflex CR-4105 in Payments Troubleshooting

Hi Everyone!

We're looking at getting a cash drawer (to replace the rather out-date metal tin). The square cash drawers are a little pricey, and there are a few USB driven cash drawers for sale. We're looking at the Posiflex CR-4105, but not sure if it's compatible with Square. Is there a way to tell, before committing to buying it?

I'd assume the USB-driven cash drawers all work the same way, and so I'd hope this one is compatible. It says that it's "True USB". Does anyone have any experience with this one?

More info about the Posiflex CR-4105 here

Hey @Makespace,

Thanks for writing back into the community!

You can check out the list of compatible cash drawers, both USB and printer-drive, here. While the Posiflex CR-4105 isn't listed as compatible, I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has been able to successfully connect a cash drawer not listed as compatible.
