&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble with your&amp;nbsp;Square Reader. The error you're describing on your phone usually comes up when you're running a Beta Version of iOS. If your phone is running on the iOS 15 Beta, the workaround is reverting back to the previous version.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;On your iPad, can&amp;nbsp;you check that your&amp;nbsp;iOS settings allow the&amp;nbsp;Square Stand to keep a constant connection to your iPad. Follow these&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT208857" target="_blank"&gt;Apple steps&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to allow access to USB accessories on your iPad.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Card reader issues</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ill start by explaining. &amp;nbsp;I use square stand with reader. Last night is the first time I’ve had a problem.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;The pos started to glitch out. Adding items to checkout by itself. &amp;nbsp;I put this down to an issue with the ipad. &amp;nbsp;So I tried to switch over &amp;nbsp;to my phone app so that I could continue to take payments. However, the card reader would not connect. &amp;nbsp;Eventually when it did connect it would pop up with a “need to update pos” and wouldn’t let me take payment’s. &amp;nbsp;Both my iphone app and ipad app are up to date.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Before posting here I should mention. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Hard reset Ipad, iPhone and card reader.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Tried to reconnect the reader to iphone, sale update message shows&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Tried reconnecting iPad to the stand with reader and is ok for a few minutes, then the glitch happens again&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Are the sales team capable with assisting via phonecall?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for reading&lt;/P&gt;</description>
