Afterpay Not Working

I have been using Square for a number of years to accept payments on my website and have been happy with it. Recently, after the AfterPay acquisition, I have decided to offer AfterPay as a payment method. My website is running on Wix BTW.

The wix website is connected and the payment method is there, but users cannot pay at checkout. I have tried to troubleshoot, disconnected and reconnected etc but to no avail. Any clues on what I can do? Just lost a large sale because of this.

Can you describe at what point the customers are getting to where they can't pay or send a screenshot? Can you also provide your URL so I can take a closer look?

Hi Robyn,

I have decided to give up on Afterpay. I feel their practices are discriminatory, allowing my competitors to offer afterpay, but not me, and when I ask them for the reason I am given no reason.

2nd, when square took over afterpay, they finally sent me my merchant number and secret key, and now I cant access the platform STILL. A left over from when they refused to offer me their services? Who knows? They will discuss it with me or give me a chance to rectify whatever they deem to be not allowed.

3rd, Afterpay say that I need to do it via Square since square bought out afterpay and there is nothing in Square that I can find to sort out the problems.

All in all it is too hard and I have decided to go with another provider, that is willing to help.

I am still currently using Square, a left over from when we were dealing with the public, but now I am reassessing and will probably drop square entirely and go with another provider like Stripe.

I was always a great Square advocate, but no longer.
