Can a Square Terminal be connected to my phone?

Hello

I have a square reader and Im interested in getting a terminal. I have read that it needs wi-fi, but as I will be using this at markets, might be hard to find wi-fi, question is can I connect it to my Samsung Galaxy S22 phone?

You can connect the Square Terminal to your phone's hotspot when you're at markets, or even consider getting an internet dongle. Just keep in mind that hotspotting will deplete your phone's battery more quickly.

Yes. When our ADSL2+ internet was disconnected we switched to using a mobile phone hotspot to connect our Square Terminal rather than pay for an expensive and unnecessary NBN plan. There's minimal data used, so we get by with a cheap ALDI plan and an old mobile. Works a treat and costs us a fraction of what we used to pay!
