Hi there, does anyone know if there is a cash out option for customers should they want to withdraw money out with their purchase?

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community!

At the moment Square doesn't provide a cash out option - this isn't a feature we're planning on integrating into our product offering in the near future and at the moment it's actually a terms of service violation to sell cash using Square.

It's certainly an unfortunate restriction compared to a traditional EFTPOS terminal you might have from a bank, but it's also important to note that Square is not a bank and as such we're unfortunately not able to provide a customer cash withdrawals.

It's always possible this will change and we'll be able to expand the types of financial services we offer in the future, but for now cash out via Square isn't available.

I could be wrong, and I don't work for Square, but I can't imagine its a priority for Square, as again my understanding is that would be a massive change in Squares setup from a regulatory and legal point of view. If it happens, it will be a big announcement I would assume.
