Will my reader or app accept Union Pay Cards ?

At the moment Square in Australia accepts any Visa, MasterCard or Amex credit and debit cards. Our Contactless + Chip reader also accepts EFTPOS (savings/cheque accounts) via Chip and Tap.

UnionPay cards are not currently supported, though we are aware of the increasing demand for UnionPay acceptance in Australia and are tracking demand for UnionPay support. If this changes in the future we'll update you via this thread!
