The good news is that there is no personal information stored in our card readers. Everything that ties a transaction to you is tied to the Square account you're logged into on the app on your mobile device - so if your reader has been lost or stolen, you can just connect a new one to your existing account, and anyone who may obtain your old reader won't be able to process anything on your account.

Hey @Away-Up,

Square products themselves don't have GPS tracking built into them, so unfortunately can't be traced!

No personal info is stored in Square readers so you don't need to do anything - though I am sorry to hear your reader has been stolen!
