To clarify is the receipt printer working? If you have printer driven cash drawer as long as the printer is connected and working then the drawer should as well. &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;If you purchased the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/shop/hardware/us/en/products/cash-drawer-16-inch" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Star Micronics 37965600&lt;/A&gt; through us, it should have come with an Interface cable. If you have tried &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5517-troubleshoot-your-cash-drawer" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;these troubleshooting steps&lt;/A&gt;, and also have deleted reinstalled the app, and made sure the app and device are up-to-date, and are still having trouble you will need to speak with the &lt;A href="https://starmicronics.com/star-micronics-technical-support/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;manufacturer.&lt;/A&gt; I hope this gets resolved! If you need any further assisatnce let us know.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I purchased the&amp;nbsp;Epson TM-T20III receipt printer and have the Star Micronics Model 379600 and purchased a phone line cord to attach between the two because neither came with a cord, but my cash drawer is not automatically opening.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/651389"&gt;@CRAVEcoffee&lt;/a&gt; thanks for your post, sorry you're having trouble with this...might seem like a stupid question, but do you have the receipt printer turned ON? I use the same setup, and because the cash drawer is "linked" through the receipt printer...if I have the printer turned OFF, then my cash drawer will not open.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, make sure the phone line cord is attached to the correct port on each, especially the printer. Some CAT5 ethernet ports look very similar to the phone cord port.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I did have it turned on, yes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I believe I have it plugged into the correct port. There is only one option on the receipt printer and the drawer…I have it plugged into what I would call the hidden port &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:"&gt;🤣&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am not currently by it to look at it but is there somewhere else I should look?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
