Star TSP100 for KDS Printing

I have a square terminal, Galaxy A9+5g tablet for my KDS and a Star TSP 100 that has Bluetooth and USB.

im trying to set up my system so that when I complete orders on the KDS it will print a ticket for my fulfillment team to see what food is on the order and put the order together.

how do I get my tablet to recognize the printer. I know KDS doesn’t work with Bluetooth. I tried USB-C to USB-A direct connection to the printer but it won’t find it. Also, do I have to do something to switch the printer from Bluetooth to USB? Will the hub help (I don’t have one yet)

Terminal and tablet connect via WiFi to a netgear AC1200 router powered by a netgear Nighthawk m600 pro hotspot via Ethernet

Sadly you will need a network printer. Usb only works for direct device to printer like the terminal to the printer but you cant route items from KDS to the printer that is connected to the terminal. i tired this many different times and the system doesn't share directly connected printers via USB. if you could get the kds to do Bluetooth i may work but i haven't done any Bluetooth printer setup in a long time. never really trusted them.
