How can Square support talk with people with no access to your account?

Apparently someone contacted square support aqbout my account and I only knew about it because I got an email from square telling me that they would get back to me, then a followup email asking me to rate the Customer Support person. I've emailed square but have yet to receive any response

I apologize for this confusion. I am diligently looking into this to see what has happened here. Due to the holiday today, there may be a delay in me receiving a response on the background of this issue, but I will be back as soon as I have an update. But, please know that I have eyes on this.
