&lt;P&gt;You can use &lt;A href="https://www.apple.com/au/shop/product/MMX62FE/A/lightning-to-35mm-headphone-jack-adapter" target="_blank"&gt;Apple's headphone to lightning connector&lt;/A&gt; to plug in the swipe reader - though note that this reader is very rarely used in Australia, and&amp;nbsp;all Australian issued cards will need to be run through chip or tap. You may be fine with just using tap and chip!&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The swipe reader in Australia can be used:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;- With overseas credit cards without chips or tap.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Need help with the Magstripe reader connecting to Iphone X.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As you know the reader has 3.5mm thing into the headset jack but Iphone X has no round 3.5mm hole.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I bought a converter from lighting to 3.5mm but does not work on the&amp;nbsp; Magstripe reader.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What can I do? Thanks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
