Add different users with different permissions

Hi everyone, apologies if this is a silly question, but I'm struggling with this!

I am selling products at a show with square and want to give readers / phones to a couple of other employees.

I was planning on just giving them my login information for the app, but I'd rather they didn't have access to my bank account info and master password.

Is there a simple way to add new 'members' who can login and just do straightforward sales?

Hey @Supdef!

Depends on how you define "simple", but there is a way of doing this 🙂

You'll need to follow the Team Management Get Started Guide, which does have a few steps, but once set up it will allow you to make employee logins with the ability to just takes sales on the app.

The free version of Team Management will let you use one free set of permissions called Team Permissions, that you can set up just to do basic things on the POS like take payments:

Then from Team Members you can add new team members, assign them permissions and invite them to set up a login for your Square account:
