Im a makeup artist and often when doing big weddings i will get anothet artist in to help and pay her some of the total collected for whatever services she completed. Is there a way for this to be recorded- i need to make sure that at emd of year it totals correctly as some of the income square will be recorded is being paid out and not an income.

At this time, there is no option in Square to record payments you're making to other contractors.

You could look into some bookkeeping and accounting software options, for example Xero, MYOB or Quickbooks, to keep track of the invoices you pay out.
