Retrieving Mobile Numbers

Hey everyone,

I did an expo last month, and sent all receipts to phone numbers.

I was under the assumption that my square app would have kept these phone numbers attached to the orders?

Is there any way to retrieve them? I really need to follow up with some of my new customers.

Hey @Benjamym,

Thanks for reaching out.

Due to data collection regulations, phone numbers used for the purpose of sending receipts are not saved to your Square account.

If you want to save and store customer information you'd need to do so via the customer directory, with the customer's permission.

That really sucks, I wish there was something that made that very clear before payments are taken.
It is so important in my field of business (skincare) to follow up with customers 😞
