Are all square devices compatible with each other?

We are looking to purchase a square setup but the default square register hardware kit spears to be over kill.

Would the following equipment all be compatible with each other?

1. Square Register

2. USB receipt printer

3. Printer cash drawer

4. USB barcode scanner
