Domain Transfer Help

Can anyone help me? My domain has been released by Shopify. I have upgraded my Square online in order to have my own domain. I have tried connecting it but it isn't working. I tried connecting it using the transfer domain option BEFORE realising Shopify had released it. Square says the domain is connected and to don nothing but its been 6, 4 business days and nothing. When typing in my domain address I'm taken to the shopify page. When clicking on the domain through site publish square i get the sever cannot be found error...

It doesn't look like your domain is currently pointing to Square's IP address when looking it up via a DNS look up tool. This is why your site is still redirecting to Shopify. To edit your settings, log in to your Square Online Dashboard, select Website > Domains > select Edit next to your domain. From there, you will need to make sure that the only records on your domain are as follows;

1 A - type Record with the host/value set as the "@" or the * symbol (depends on your registrar) pointing to "199.34.228.164"

Another A type Record with the host value as "www" and pointing to "199.34.228.164".

Please give our support team a call if you're still having trouble with your domain, so we can take a closer look at your settings, and status of the transfer. Unfortunately, this isn't something I'm able to take a closer look at via this forum. Please let us know how you go!
