    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I use square on a number of devices which are IOS and neve had any issues, just purchased an andriod device which is a Lenovo Tab M8 and the auto rotate works fine on every single thing on the device but square, it will not rotate to be horizontal.&amp;nbsp; It is very frustrating.&amp;nbsp; Can someone help, I have rung square support but they say its not an issue, the device is up to date with all device updates, square has been uninstalled and downloaded three times there - it is a new device but WILL NOT rotate to horizontal within the square app.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties using the app on your Android device.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;While the ability to use Square Point of Sale in landscape mode on Android mobile devices is unavailable, you can still use Android tablets in landscape mode.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may have already gone through these steps with our support team but see below for my suggestions.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Firstly, let's disable and re-enable your auto-rotate settings, to do so:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. Find and turn on the "Auto-rotate" tile in the quick-setting panel.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;2. You can also go to &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Display&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Auto-rotate screen&lt;/STRONG&gt; to turn it on/off.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You may also need to disable the Screen Overlay setting on your device, to do so:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Open &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt; on your device.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Visit your &lt;STRONG&gt;Apps&lt;/STRONG&gt; section.&lt;BR /&gt;3. Select &lt;STRONG&gt;More&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Special Access&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Draw over other apps&lt;/STRONG&gt; or the &lt;STRONG&gt;Apps that can appear on top&lt;/STRONG&gt; menu.&lt;BR /&gt;4. Toggle off the permission for all apps that have it enabled.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If those suggestions don't work, I've linked an article &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/3trve7Z" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; with some tips on troubleshooting auto-rotate and landscape mode on Android devices.
