I have a Single catalogue item (a nameplate) that is available in 24 variations (different Names) which are chosen by the customer from a list.

If a customer chooses to bundle four nameplates together they get a bulk price.
I have the Single catalogue item set up as two options, Single Unit is SKU 1 , Four Units is SKU 4.

My problem is I can't workout how to customise the variations to only allow the choice of one Name with a single purchase but four Names for the bulk purchase without setting up separate catalogue items for the Single and Bulk purchase.

In short, I have one item which I wish the customer to select quantity of 1 or 4.

Both options allow a choice of 24 different names - option 1 should only be able to choose one name from the list while option 4 should be able to automatically choose 4 names from the same list.

I noticed it's your first post, welcome to our community 👋 We love seeing new faces here!

At this time, this would be considered a feature request, as we don't have automatic (or bulk) discounts on Square Online. As a workaround, you can create a discount coupon code that your customers can add via the checkout. Learn more about coupons for Square Online here.

In regards to variations, each nameplate variation would need to be added to the cart separately, e.g your customer would have to add "Name 1" to the cart, then "Name 2" and so on. If they selected "Name 1" and then added another item to their cart by clicking +2, for instance, they'd receive two "Name 1" nameplates.
