      <title>Issue with Auto create Item</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just updated my Square Stand to 6.39.3 on Saturday 3-23-2024 think there is a Bug in the validation of GTINS when creating an Item from the Checkout screen.&amp;nbsp; I was able to add the item through More&amp;gt;Items&amp;gt; and the camera on the Ipad for the gtin to find the item. Have you tried the typical troubleshooting of the App(close completely, restart, uninstall, and download again)?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/223739"&gt;@JJ_&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am glad I make people Laugh.&amp;nbsp; When I had an issue it was on 6.38.1 I believe so I closed the app, got the update which put me to the 6.39.3 version.&amp;nbsp; I tried it and got the errors mentioned.&amp;nbsp; So I closed the app again and went for my cell to take the pictures if it happened again.&amp;nbsp; Which it did, and how I got the images.&amp;nbsp; I did not download it again as I just downloaded.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And now since that Item is in my Library from using the More-Items method I can not try that way again unles I delete and add it again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same issue. &amp;nbsp;I scan new vinyl LPs with a barcode reader. &amp;nbsp;I can’t add new items due to the invalid GTIN error. &amp;nbsp;I will wait on the new update and hope it works.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
