Hey folks I've just accepted Afterpay with my store items and was wondering with the 2% or whatever it was, is that automatically taken out by Square at Checkout when and if the buyer uses it? Or will I look forward to a seperate surprise bill from them later?

Hi Davo @Spidey82,

The processing fee for Afterpay transactions is automatically deducted from your transfers. Afterpay's fee is 6% + 30¢ (excluding GST) per transaction, which is the standard buy now, pay later (BNPL) rate that Afterpay charges merchants. There are no monthly fees or startup costs to start taking Afterpay payments with Square and you only pay processing fees when you make a sale.
