How to add a business to my Launchpad?

Hi Community,

I have two businesses, each with their own Square account. How do I add my second business to the Launchpad? According to this help article, it should be possible, but it doesn't specify how.

Also, is there a way to go back to the launchpad from the dashboard without logging out and back in?

Hello Honeycombbread,

Sorry but, we need to clear up exactly what you have in mind. Launchpad is a web application and website that allows users to develop and maintain software, particularly open-source software. It is developed and maintained by Canonical Ltd. Not sure what this has to do with Square.

Next, the link you provided is about having and managing multiple businesses under 1 Square Business Account. I'm assuming since you noted that you have two separate businesses, each with their own account, you would like to combine or merge and manage everything via your Square Account Dashboard. Depending on how your businesses are setup, you may first want to speak with a professional to see if maybe you're better off the way you are by keeping things separate. If it does not make any difference, then you may have to close one of the Square Accounts and update the other one with all the details. I don't believe that you can actually merge two Square Accounts. Hopefully, some of the other Community Members can then provide some tips from their experiences with setting up multiple businesses under one Square Account.

Hello,

Here is some clarification.

The Launchpad is a Square application that you see when you have multiple square accounts.

Here is a screenshot:

You can see that each business has its own locations and its own dashboard.

There is a help article referencing this, but it doesn't go into detail on how to actually add your new account/business to the launchpad. I've also seen moderators mention it in other threads, but they don't go into detail beyond "set up a second account for the separate business".

Any thoughts?
