Connecting Card Reader & USB Barcode Scanner to PC

Hi,

I operate a small Karate club and most of my sales go through my online store. I have a Card Reader & a USB Barcode Scanner (From a previous project) that I'd like to connect to the PC in the Dojo for any sales made in the dojo.

Is it possible to use the Reader in combination with the PC VPOS and USB Scanner (The PC has Bluetooth capability)? So far I've only found info relating to the Terminal connecting to the PC.

Hello @ShukokaiNR,

Great question! At the moment, you can connect your Square Terminal with Virtual Terminal for in-person payments but this feature is not currently supported with Square Reader.

If you're planning on processing payments with your reader, you will need to ensure you have paired it to your app on a compatible mobile device or tablet.

Hopefully in the near future we'll be able to connect the Reader to a PC to make sales.
