&lt;P&gt;Currently, Square Appointments doesn't support pre-authorising payment cards or collecting security deposits. However, I’ll merge your post with an existing thread that tracks feedback on this request. In the meantime, you can &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/au/en/article/5676-customer-prepayment-for-square-appointments" target="_self"&gt;accept a prepayment for online bookings&lt;/A&gt; as an alternative.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a business in the beauty industry. I would like the system to charge a deposit from clients when they book through square appointments. does anyone know how to do this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
