Why are my browser shortcuts for the Dashboard and Item Library redirecting me to the home page?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Logging In To Dashboard Goes to Default Square Homepage.

Hi hive mind,

I've created shortcuts in my browsers on multiple systems to link directly to my item library and dashboard. However, on a number of occassions, mostly on the same system, I will go to log in, and it will take me to the Square generic home page. I will then have to go back and log in again, only to have it do it up to 5 times before it actually goes to the dashboard. As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating and was wondering if anyone else is having this issue. All my systems are up to date, including drivers and browsers, so I don't know why it just does it on one system.

It's worth noting that the Square Dashboard will automatically sign you out after a period of inactivity to protect your account and keep your information secure. This could be why your shortcuts are redirecting. However, having to log in five times is certainly not expected behaviour, so let's investigate further.

When you have a moment, could you please provide the following details?

The URLs saved for your Item Library and Square Dashboard (e.g., https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/items/library and https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/).
Which web browsers you're using and which one is experiencing the issue most frequently (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge).
The URL of the Square homepage you’re being redirected to. Are you being redirected to the Square Dashboard sign-in page (https://app.squareup.com/login) or the main Square homepage (https://squareup.com/au/en)?
