How do I change my account’s Australian Business Number (ABN)?

Hi, is there a way to change my account’s ABN without having to make a new account and move my entire website onto that new account?

FYI, I had to get a new ABN for personal reasons and need to use the new one now.

I have spent just over a month or so working on my website and it’s just about finished, so I really don’t want to have to copy it all over.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this.

If both your old and new ABNs have the business structure of Individual/Sole Trader, our Account Services team can update your ABN on your existing Square account. You can verify your ABN details using the ABR lookup tool.
