Can I transfer funds between two locations?

Hi,
I have 2 locations that have different linked bank accounts, How can i transfer balances between the two? It is the same master company

Hi @Mistyss - good question!

It’s not possible to transfer funds between locations within your Square account. Sales are attributed to the location where the transaction is processed, and funds can only be transferred out of that location to a linked bank account, not to another location.

However, if you'd like to receive funds from multiple locations in a single bank account, you can update the linked bank account for your locations at any time.

To do this:

1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and go to Settings > Account & Settings > Money > Bank Accounts.

2. Under All Locations, select the linked bank account next to the location you want to update.

3. From the drop-down menu, select the verified bank account you want to link. If you don't see the desired account, select Add external bank account and complete the bank verification process.

4. Click Update linked account > Done.
