      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/583251"&gt;@stefanyschade&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;I’m sorry to say that, currently, Square does not offer what I like to call “prompt/preferred payment discounts” for invoices. &amp;nbsp;Since you want to only offer a discount at payment time — based upon how and when the customer pays — all I can suggest is this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Put a message on your invoice template specifying that discounts are available for x and y. &amp;nbsp;Please call us.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When the customer calls, edit their invoice to add the requested discount, and send them an updated invoice to use to pay.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Have the customer pay from the latest invoice.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;As a longer term solution, head over to the &lt;A href="https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Feature-Requests/ct-p/Beta-Feature-Requests" target="_self"&gt;Feature Request board&lt;/A&gt;, and submit your request. &amp;nbsp;You should put it on the Square Invoices board. &amp;nbsp;Be specific about the fact that you can’t put the discount on the original invoice since you aren’t sure which, if either, will be used. &amp;nbsp;Also, be specific about the manual steps you and your customer have to go through. &amp;nbsp;It seems like a reasonable request to ask them to allow us to specify payment-time discounts that can be automatically applied to an invoice when the customer submits payment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know if you need anything else.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;</description>
