Is it possible to use a barcode scanner while preparing an estimate?

Hello,

I work in a repair shop and our service department is in need of barcode scanner capabilities while working on their projects. Typically we have them write all of the parts used and then it is transcribed to an estimate via a computer in the office. This has led to missing parts and/or having to remove items that were from the estimate afterwards. I was wondering if they could scan the parts in real time while working on the project creating the estimate themselves.

I can do this for an Invoice or Purchase order, so I think you should be able to with a Computer and a Barcode Scanner.

I just went to create a Test estimate and Yes you can use a Scanner with a Computer to create an estimate.
