Subscription with one time charge

I want to be able to do 2 things for when a new client signs up with a subscription.

1. Be able to set a delayed start date. For example, I am signing up today but my first bill will not be charged till 3 days from now.

2. I want to be able to have the client purchase a subscription AND a one time charge (like an equipment pack or registration fee) without having to fill out 2 purchases. For example, I click to subscribe to a membership and on the invoice as I check out there is the monthly charge AND a one time charge of XX.

Are either of these things possible?

I see no response. Does this mean this is not possible without using the API?
