"Packing slip" type document for Invoices?

Is there some way of generating a packing list from an invoice? As our business grows we are starting to use third party drivers for local delivery and want to give them something to easily identify which items are grouped together, but which doesn't show our prices. This is for local delivery only; the products we sell are not shipped.

That makes total sense! As your business grows, having a packing list without prices for your delivery drivers would definitely help keep things organized.

Square doesn’t currently have a built-in “packing list” feature, but there are a couple of workarounds you could try:

1. Export the Invoice and Remove Pricing (Manual Way)

You can go to Square Dashboard → Invoices, open the invoice, and print/save it as a PDF.
Then, manually remove pricing (or copy the item list into a separate document) before giving it to the driver.

2. Use the “Receipt” Instead of the Invoice

If the goal is just to show what’s included without prices, you could generate a receipt (instead of an invoice) and hand that to the driver.
Square receipts don’t always show line-item pricing, just totals, depending on the settings.

3. Use a Third-Party Packing List App

If you want a fully automated process, you might need a third-party solution. Some inventory and fulfillment apps that integrate with Square allow you to generate packing slips.
Zapier might also help by automatically pulling Square invoice details into a packing list format.

4. Feature Request to Square

Since this would be a super useful feature, I’d recommend submitting a feature request here. If enough businesses ask for it, Square might add it in the future!
