Customer paid me by ACH. How long does it take to see this payment in my account? Asking because if the wait is too long then I will disable ACH payments.

Hi there @BOR2021. So ACH payments are managed by the national automated clearing house. Once a payment is sent to them, it can take anywhere from 1-3 business days for Square to receive that payment and post it to our balances. Some factors can affect this such as size of the payment, the time of day the customer paid, bank holidays, etc. But 1-3 business days is a good average. Square has no control over this as once the customer submits an ACH payment it is completely handled by the national ACH computers. This slower speed is one of the biggest reasons why ACH payments come with lower processing fees.
