Hello, we are operating a Buddhist temple on 3332 148th Street Flushing, NY 11354. Our organization starts to digitalize transaction using Square. We have Form ST-119 Exempt Organization Certificate from New York State so pretty much everything temple related expenses are free from tax.

We just bought two Square Stand Kits and were charged with tax from the hardware purchase.

I've contacted the Square Support by calling [Redacted] on two different occasions regarding tax exempt matter and both of them gave me inconsistent answer from each other.

Where can we submit our tax exempt application to Square? Many thanks for all the helps and replies in advance.

During the checkout process there is a foot note that says " For sales tax exempt entities please remit the required tax documentation to our Support team." Nothing is clickable. I would start by emailing Support. you can do this by going to https://squareup.com/help/us/en then click contact us 2/3rds down on the right. and that will bring up a form to send them an email.
