Cash drawer won't open

My cash drawer was working perfectly last night then it just stopped opening. I can open it with a key but it doesn't automatically open like before. I just updated to version 6.44.1 which helped with the speed of the drawer opening at first until it just stopped. My printer is still working fine.

As i see this is your first post welcome to the sellers user forum.

For your cash Drawer issue you did not state how it is connected to your Square POS system, USB, Printer Driven etc.

I would do the following troubelshooting.

I would unplug the Cash Drawer, Reboot your Square POS then connect the cash Drawer.

Sometimes this will help the Square system now see the cash drawer.

Also test the Drawers function in Square.
