Magstripe Reader and Iphone, Where is the back button?

I have the magstripe reader and if I accidentally put in the wrong number to charge them how do I reset it or is there a back button because I can't find it! I end up charging them the wrong amount and having to refund them or I have recently just started logging out and then back in. There has to be a back or reset and I'm just not finding it. Please help!

There is a way to reset it, though it's a little tricky – especially if you've already added the dollar amount to the sale.

First, if the number is still showing at the top of the screen, tap the "C" button near the bottom left corner of the keypad. That clears the number. You can then enter the correct number.

If you already pressed the + button on the keypad then you have to take these steps:

Tap "Review Sale" near the bottom of the screen.
Tap "Custom Amount."
Scroll down and tap "Remove Item." You may be asked to confirm whether you want to delete it.

You can also swipe left on "Custom Amount" instead of tapping it in step 2.
