How can I remove the CashApp option on the payment option?

We've been tracking our clients when they checkout at the store here in Bethesda and 9/10 times they try to tap their card on the cashapp option. They assume that's where they tap their card because it's such a HUGE advertisement.

I understand Square is part of Cashapp, but it's unfair we can remove all other options except for cashapp. Please either update or let us know how we can remove the option. It even takes up half the screen and ruins the minimalist look of the checkout process

Hello @ZAII thanks for your post. I understand your frustration on the CashApp on your customer screen. There is a way to remove that payment option on your Register. From your register menu, go to More > Settings > Payment Types. Then toggle OFF the button next to Cash App Pay. I hope this helps answer your question.

Hi - I am wanting to remove CashApp from our register as well. This doesn't show up onder More>Settings. I also tried this article https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6389-manage-payment-types-with-the-square-app

When I go to settings on the Square Register (for retail) my options are Hardware and Account, and payment types is not found under either of these. Please help!
