How Do You Use Square Registar at Outside shows?

I am dioing my first outside event with our new square POS. DO the registars work without Internet? Do they work with WiFi or Hotspot? How do other people use the POS at events?

Hello @WitchyMichie thanks for your question. As long as you have electrical power and wifi internet connection, you should be able to use your Square Register. You can also use your Square App on your phone with a connected card reader, or you can use a Terminal. If you do not yet have a Square Register you may want to explore all of the hardware options available; some of these are more portable than others and may suit you better. Yes using your phone as a Hotspot does work. I have used my cell as a hotspot for my Square Stands when doing a show. I did need an electrical outlet to power the square stand as you will need one also for powering your Register and any other items you bring such as a cash drawer or receipt printer etc.
