@Diale As long as you are not trying to process in offline mode, you will get an immediate answer if a card is declined or not.

It will not allow you to know if the card is stolen or not if it has not yet been reported. But all transactions are "verified" right away if used online - but you are at risk of charge backs (3 years I've never had one in my shop however)
